Deposit

50% of rental fee due at booking to secure date-nonrefundable and due when contract signed. Remaining venue rental due 30 days prior to event. Taxes and fees for venue rental included. Credit card will be processed with a 3% service fee. You are welcome to pay with cash or check with no fee.

Beverage / Alcohol

Beverage/alcohol minimum $3,000 with 3 keg max.

Bartender fee $275. Anything over 50 people, additional bartender required.

Gratuity

20% gratuity and sales tax will be added to all bar charges for the event. Total payment due no later than 30 days before event.

FAQ | Haven on the Farm

Procedures

Absolutely no smoking on Haven on the Farm property unless in designated area with “Designated Smoking Area” sign present. Please make sure guest are aware of this, a $5,000 fine per smoker will be assessed to bridal party.

  • Zero smoking allowed in Bridal House, Barn, and Carriage House.
  • No rough housing or throwing balls or other items in any of our buildings.
  • Any damage to our Haven truck will be charged to the bridal party.
  • Credit card number required for any incidentals and/or damages. Walk through will be executed after the wedding has ended.
  • Facility day of event / wedding use is from 8am – 11pm.
  • Final guest count required 14 days before event.
  • Any person can be asked to leave the premises if staff deems necessary to protect the venue or wedding party.
  • All property on Haven on the Farm must be accounted for before family leaves.
  • Vehicles are NOT to be left on the property / parking lot overnight after event, towing will be enforced.
  • No children under the age of 16 will be left unattended, or that party will be asked to leave.
  • No underage drinking allowed. Our bar staff is trained and will notify proper channels.
  • No cooking allowed in buildings.
  • Zero Tolerance for drinking and driving once leaving premises.
  • No drugs permitted on the property.
  • No confetti, rice, bird seed, or silk rose petals are allowed.
  • No tape, nails, staples, or glitter allowed on the property.
  • We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
  • Guests are required to stay within the permitted grounds of Haven on the Farm and to not wander the surrounding property.

Additional Information

Clean Up

Haven on the Farm staff will take care of sweeping, mopping, putting up tables, stacking of chairs and vacuuming the venue; Client must comply with After-Event obligations. There will be a charge of $1,000 if party is not out by designated time. Clients are responsible for decorations and personal belongings after event. Leftover decorations will result in a $1,000 cleanup and storage fee.

Damage | Excessive Clean Up Deposit

In addition to the venue rental cost, a damage/excessive cleanup deposit is required in the amount of refundable $500 and is due at the same time as the last payment 30 days before the event.

Labor to clean up unnecessary messes such as vomit or extra restroom cleanup from Client’s guests’ lack of personal responsibility or hygiene. $50 per occurrence will be charged to bridal party.

Damage to any facility in any form will be photographed by Haven on the Farm, and if formal repair/cleaning costs exceeds the deposit amount, the Client will be invoiced for the repairs and extra cleanup at the following rates: $50/hour per person.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Haven on the Farm venue can seat up to 300 guests.

No you cannot bring your own alcohol.

We include in our price: cross-back brown chairs for indoor use, custom wood 8 ft tables and 60″ round tables

We do provide a variety of different rentals including farm tables, linens, vintage chairs/tables, ornate buffet tables, high-tops, cake stands, sound systems and other eclectic decor.

Yes you can pay with a credit card. Paying with a card will require a 3% processing fee. Payments of cash or checks are also welcomed if the fee is not acceptable. Checks can be made payable to Haven on the Farm, Inc. and sent to: Haven on the Farm, P.O. Box 9533, Peoria, IL 61612. A credit/debit card will be required on file for any incidentals or damage to the property.

You have the venue from 8am to 11pm. Last call for alcohol is at 10:30pm with all events ending at 11pm. Flower, decorations and personal belongings are required to be cleaned up and out of the barn by 12am. A $1,000 fee will be applied if your group is not out by the contracted time. Vendors will have access to the space 11pm – 12am to tear down any decor and exit the property.

The main barn will have the ability to host 3 mobile bars. Our main bar can be located in the front foyer while the 2 smaller bars are optional inside of the reception area. No shots are allowed due to liability reasons. 

Ceremony rehearsal time must be approved by Haven on the Farm and must be scheduled so that it does not interfere with any other events that may be taking place.

We would love for you to use our preferred vendors as we feel they are the best for the Farm and do a fantastic job at creating the seamless wedding day you deserve. Please have your caterers contact us ASAP for requirements. They are responsible for set up and clean up of the prep kitchens in both the Carriage House and Barn if they utilize them.

Yes, Haven on the Farm staff will set up ceremony chairs (if rented) and reception space. Clients are still responsible for decorations, external rentals, and gathering personal belongings including trash, after the event.

If the ceremony is held indoors at Haven, our staff will assist with flipping the barn for a fee of $800 from a full ceremony set up to a full reception set up. This flip will have been scheduled at the time of renting the property. In the case of inclement weather for an outdoor ceremony, the venue coordinator must be given a 4 hours notice to prepare the barn for a ceremony set up. A full flip will not be available if the ceremony was planned to be outside and then moved inside.

The barn is 7,000 square feet and will comfortably hold 275-300 people. The Carriage House can also hold up to roughly 100 people.

Security will be present at most events where alcohol is present and/or exceeds 200 guests. This is taken care of by Haven on the Farm.

No sparklers, fireworks, confetti, rice, bird seed, or silk petals are allowed.

No. The only area to unload is the driveway in front of the 3 car garage just a few steps from the barn. Absolutely no vehicles allowed on grass for any reason.

Yes. As long as they are rented through Haven on the Farm.

Pets are generally not allowed at Haven on the Farm, however we understand that pets are like family, and we would be willing to discuss the presence of your pet at your wedding ceremony only.
